In a few short days we will bid adieu to 2017 so it is only fitting to take one last look around, taking stock in what the year has brought you. What you’ve outgrown, what you rediscovered, the sorrows and stumbles too. For all has brought growth and wisdom that enriched our journey.
Stop... Ponder... Reflect. What are you walking away with? What are you leaving behind? Sift through, purge, discard... Take the lessons learned, the true friendships made, the enlightenment, the courage, the passion and seductive desire to live a life extraordinaire, the invitation to new adventures, the keys to this new chapter as we step through the portal into a brand new year. A clean white canvas to paint in brilliant color, a blank piece of sheet music to blend lyrical words to life’s tune. An unexplored open road calling you to adventures untold.
Leave the negative, the guilt, the thoughts that sabotage and destroy, the weak links and self doubt that try’s to breakdown your accomplishments and what you have obtained spiritually, emotionally as well as physically. Drop, that which causes you to feel caged, that which you have long outgrown and that which hinders your ability to live YOUR life on YOUR terms, in the trash receptacle as you exit. Yes it is sometimes hard to let go of time invested and walk away but in doing so other doors and opportunities will be made to avail you. That as hard as change is, know it is for the greater good. Under the full moon’s glow on that first night of 2018, cast your wishes wants and desires to The Universe. Watch them manifest as your warrior strength and courage are rewarded. Know that you are not alone, there are those that are steadfast and will never let you down... even in your darkest hour they will lift you up to feel the warmth of the light that you think has eluded you.
Enter this new chapter with YOUR Light shining brightly... Let it show the world that you are perfectly imperfect and uniquely fabulous. The glow from your soul could help another find their way through the darkness even if they don't ask. You could be the ray of hope that gives them the courage to make the changes they have wanted but had all but given up on. Often they are the ones most needing a reflective thought, a hand to hold or a caress on the cheek. Be that shining example, which you wish to see in others.
And remember to always tell those you care about, those that mean the most what lies within your depth... Say it, Mean it... If you talk the talk, walk the walk! Be mindful that this is not a dress rehearsal and BLAZE YOUR TRAIL BRIGHTLY & BOLDLY!!!
